The Pearl River Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They were beaten by Salmen 86-48. If Pearl River was looking for revenge after losing 90-59 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
It was another big night for Jeremiah Carter, who scored 19 points for Salmen. Tre Hartley was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.
Pearl River's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-15. As for Salmen, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pearl River will take on the Yellowjackets at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Mt. Hermon is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Salmen, they will stay at home for another game and welcome the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on February 5th.
