Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Omaha Westside Warriors walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Millard West 41-0 on the road. Omaha Westside might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won 11 matchups by 33 points or more this season.
Jahmez Ross was his usual excellent self, rushing for 151 yards and three touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Rezac, who threw for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
The victory for Omaha Westside keeps them at an undefeated 12-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.74 points. As for Millard West, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3.
Omaha Westside will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Elkhorn South at 7:15 p.m. on November 21st. Elkhorn South will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak. Millard West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
