After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kenwood, Solorio was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Farragut Admirals. The victory was some much needed relief for the Sun Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Solorio saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sebastian Davila-Adames, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run. That's the most hits Davila-Adames has posted since back in March. Another was Keiber Hernandez, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Solorio hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Farragut struck out eight times.
Solorio's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Farragut, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-7.
