After having lost a blowout in their last-week game, the James Valley Christian Vikings were happy to find some success this past Friday. They took their contest against the Wessington Springs Spartans by a conclusive 48-24 score. That's another feather in the cap for James Valley Christian, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
The win bumped the Vikings' record up to 10-13. Wessington Springs' overall record fell to 4-19.
The Vikings have the luxury of staying at home another game and will welcome Lake Preston Monday. Lake Preston is coming in off of a big 63-37 win over Oldham-Ramona/Rutland. As for Wessington Springs, Wessington Springs and Wolsey-Wessington will go head to head Monday in their first playoff matchup of the year. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest.
