The Kenston Bombers's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Hudson Explorers on Wednesday. Kenston enjoyed a cozy 55-39 win over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kenston also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Kenston found their leader in underclassman Aurora Young, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Black, who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
The win got Kenston back to even at 1-1. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
Kenston will head out on the road to face off against Green at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, they will be playing at home against Lake Catholic at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
