For Ashley's part, they got a great performance from  Colin Beddard as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits over 4.1 innings pitched. Beddard has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Drew Potter was  excellent,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with one  run and one  RBI. Those  three  hits gave  him a new career-high.
 South Brunswick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  an  8-6  defeat against West Brunswick on the 1st. As for Ashley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  4-2  win against North Brunswick on the 1st.
