Despite the loss, Natoma saw an underclassman step up: Lillian Carter dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Carter is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last nine games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caylie Lyle, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Natoma, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will take on Stockton on Tuesday. As for Natoma, they will head out on the road to face off against Plainville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Plainville is on a four-game streak of home losses, Natoma a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
