Cleburne is 0-10 against Centennial since April of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. Cleburne will challenge Centennial at 1:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Centennial will be up against a hot Cleburne squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Cleburne was the clear victor by an 11-4 margin over Seguin on Friday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 31, 2023, but that streak is no more.
Faith Evans was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off eight hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.

Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Cleburne has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .492.
