Basketball Recap: Peru Beats Delphi Community for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Peru extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Addie Robbins. Everything went the Peru Tigers' way against the Delphi Community Oracles on Saturday as the Peru Tigers made off with a 54-34 victory thanks in part to Robbins, who went 9 for 15 on her way to 27 points in addition to eight assists and six boards. Her afternoon made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kyannah Correll, who posted six points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (two).

Delphi Community's loss came despite strong showings from Payton Morrow and Maddy Brown. Morrow went 6 of 11 on her way to 14 points, while Brown put up nine points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jenna Roth, who had nine points and three steals.

Peru is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season. As for Delphi Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peru will welcome Manchester at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
