Baseball Recap: North Mac's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

North Mac put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the North Greene Spartans 19-1. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Andrew Scroggins was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Aiden Hatalla was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

North Mac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .629. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

North Mac pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for North Greene, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, North Mac is taking a road trip to square off against Nokomis at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Greene, they will head out to challenge Seymour at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
