After losing to Ellicott the last time they met, Rocky Ford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Rocky Ford took the contest and then some with a 45-0 win on Saturday over Ellicott. Rocky Ford were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped Rocky Ford's record up to 2-4. Ellicott are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-6.
Next week Rocky Ford take on Peyton at 7:00 PM. Peyton have averaged 46 points over the course of their past six games, so Rocky Ford might be in for a challenge. Ellicott will look to defend their home turf against Trinidad at 7:00 PM.
