The Otis-Bison Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-31 loss at the hands of Dighton. Otis-Bison was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-4.
Leading Dighton to victory were Daniel Cramer and Carson Shimer. Cramer scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Shimer dropped a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cramer has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of George Von Leonrod, who scored four points along with two steals.
Otis-Bison's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Dighton, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otis-Bison will take on Sylvan-Lucas at TBD on Friday. As for Dighton, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Greeley County at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Greeley County is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
