There's no place like home for the Wisner-Pilger Gators, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Madison 37-23 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Wisner-Pilger also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Nevaeh Brown, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Brown is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Ramsey Arduser was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Despite the loss, Madison still got an impressive performance from maddie stueckrath, who scored six points.
Wisner-Pilger now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Madison, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 4-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wisner-Pilger will take on Fort Calhoun at TBD on Saturday. Hopefully Fort Calhoun focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Thursday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Twin River at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
