Basketball Recap: Buchanan Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Buchanan had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 50-43 win over the Hartford Huskies.

Buchanan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Hartford, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-1.

Coincidentally, Buchanan and Hartford will both be playing Gobles the next time they take the court. Buchanan will head out to face Gobles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Hartford will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
