The result was nothing new for Colorado Springs Christian, who have now won five games by 28 points or more so far this season.
Will Moore was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns. Daniel Hoggard got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Colorado Springs Christian's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Michael Olas and his 2.5 sacks.
When it comes to explaining why Ellicott lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jaylen Bonilla. Despite the final result, he picked up 87 receiving yards, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Bonilla was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards.
Colorado Springs Christian's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Ellicott, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.
