Volleyball Recap: St. John Paul II Has No Trouble Against West Limestone

St. John Paul II barely beat West Limestone the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Wildcats 3-0 on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

St. John Paul II walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, 25-13.

Rhyan Holloway paced St. John Paul II's offense, picking up 13 kills. Holloway got some help from Elizabeth Rohling and her 26 assists. Audrey Rush controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

The win got St. John Paul II back to even at 11-11. As for West Limestone, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. John Paul II will venture away from home to square off against Randolph School at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Limestone, they will head out to take on Brewer at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
