The Graham Local Falcons waltzed into their matchup Saturday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Northwestern with a 58-52 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Graham Local also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2021.
Graham Local's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hailey Nash, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and five steals. Nash is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Bailey Britton was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Graham Local's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Northwestern, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Graham Local will head out on the road to face off against Indian Lake at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwestern will be home for the holidays to greet Greenon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
