Softball Recap: Donegal's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Donegal entered their tilt with Elizabethtown on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the Bears 12-10. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2018.

Donegal pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Elizabethtown, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-2.

Donegal and Elizabethtown will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Indians will challenge rival Northern Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Elizabethtown is set to square off against their familiar foe Ephrata at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
