After flying high against Lake Quinault on Thursday, Taholah came back down to earth. The Chitwhins took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Darrington Loggers on Tuesday. The Chitwhins' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Taholah's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Darrington, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Taholah will venture away from home to face off against Wishkah Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Darrington, they will challenge Mount Vernon Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hurricanes will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Loggers surely won't give up without a fight.
