Dorman (Roebuck, S.C.) received a huge boost from its defense against
Rock Hill (S.C.), as the unit scored six in defeating
Rock Hill (S.C.), 26-23.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Shondrell Keenan in the second quarter, the Cavaliers was up 19-7 at the half.
Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at 12 entering the fourth.
Dorman led by as many as 19 points before the Bearcats cut into the final margin.
Dorman (2-0) goes up against Greenwood in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Rock Hill (0-1) locks horns with Conway also in a non-conference game.
