The Bay Path RVT Minutemen were able to grind out a solid  win over the Burncoat Patriots on Monday, taking the game  6-3. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Minutemen.

 Josh Hemingway made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   five  hits. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Dale Nussey, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.  Chase Davis was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with three  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Bay Path RVT's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Burncoat, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record  this season.
 Bay Path RVT will take on Hopedale at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Burncoat, they will face off against Assabet Valley RVT at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
