Jordan Alston continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Granville Central, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Durham School of the Arts has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Granville Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Durham School of the Arts will square off against the at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Varsity Opponent is out to stop a 13-game streak of losses at home. Granville Central will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Hopefully Louisburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
