Last Friday, Westerly put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season. They steamrollered Mt. Hope 61-0. Senior Tristan Turano was the offensive standout of the match for Westerly, as he rushed for 156 yards and 4 touchdowns. That makes it six straight good games in a row from Turano.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Providence Country Day/Wheeler/Sanchez Complex, and their match last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to six. They took a serious blow against Classical, falling 0-37.
Westerly's victory lifted them to 6-0 while Providence Country Day/Wheeler/Sanchez Complex's loss dropped them down to 0-6.
