Greeneview hasn't had much luck against West Jefferson recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Rams will host the Roughriders at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Greeneview's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Catholic Central 18-0. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Irish recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Gabbie Burkett was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Bella Sutton was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Mya Simpson, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Greeneview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 6-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, West Jefferson waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Silver Knights.
Like Greeneview, West Jefferson also got a great game from a two-way player: Jenna Mannon. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Mannon was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Greeneview hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .350. However, it's not like West Jefferson struggles in that department as they've averaged .409. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
