The Raby Raiders managed to keep up with the King Jaguars until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Raby's tough 72-50 defeat to King might stick with them for a while. Raby can't seem to catch a break and have yet to win any of their five games.
Despite the loss, Raby still got an impressive performance from Jaylen Walker, who scored 21 points. The matchup was Walker's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Nick Rogers Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
King got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Amir Brown out in front who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Demarco King, who scored 17 points.
Raby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for King, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Raby will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Kaneland at 4:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for King, they will be playing at home against DuSable at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
