Baseball Recap: Windermere Wins Going Away Against Atlantic Coast

Windermere never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on the Atlantic Coast Stingrays with a sharp 10-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Justin Margelos looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Diego Rodriguez and Sebastian Vargas did most of the damage at the plate: Rodriguez scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Vargas scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Those two hits gave Vargas a new career-high. Dylan Bobinski also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Windermere's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Atlantic Coast, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.

Windermere has already played their next contest, an 8-7 victory against Harmony on the 26th. As for Atlantic Coast, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 17-2 win against Bishop Kenny on the 25th.
