King's Fork have struggled against Western Branch recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Great Bridge's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2-2. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for King's Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Great Bridge took their win against King's Fork in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
