Bowne was led to victory by Christopher Judge and Messiah Person-Kennedy. Judge scored 21 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Person-Kennedy almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, nine rebounds, and 11 blocks. That's the first time this season that Person-Kennedy pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khaleel Williams-Mitchell, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Bowne pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.9 points per game. As for Francis Lewis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bowne will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Cardozo at 1:30 p.m. on January 20th.
