Buckeye Trail never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Tuscarawas Central Catholic Saints 8-0. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Buckeye Trail, bringing their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they dropped their record down to 0-19 with the loss, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buckeye Trail will head out to face off against John Glenn at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tuscarawas Central Catholic, they will venture away from home to challenge Conotton Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Saints' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
