Owensboro Catholic extended their road winning streak to seven games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Miles Edge. The Aces blew past the Daviess County Panthers, posting a 34-2 win thanks in part to Edge, who picked up 72 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 97 yards and one TD. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles and defended one pass.

Owensboro Catholic's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. In that department, Barrett Evans was the leader with two sacks.

Owensboro Catholic's record is now 2-0. As for Daviess County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
