The Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Crismon Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has eight straight wins, the Rattlers have three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They really took it to Gilbert Christian for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-30 victory on the road.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hannah Johnson, who scored 11 points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Sedona Dietrich, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, Crismon was the victim of a tough 53-30 loss at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Crismon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.
