Albany is on  a three-game streak of home losses, and Saint Mary an eight-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck  on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Albany Cougars  face off against  Saint Mary's Panthers at 4:00  p.m. Albany is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season.
On Tuesday,  everything went Albany's way against De Anza as Albany made off with  a  14-3 victory. The  win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Dons: they've now won five in a row.
 Caroline Snyder was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up  three earned runs off only  two  hits. Snyder was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other pitching news,  Tehya Hancock looked comfortable as she  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Lauren Jones, who  went 3-for-5 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. She also  hit a  double, marking her first of the season.  Samirah Bowie was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-5.
 Albany  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Saint Mary's lost  13-2 to Miramonte on Tuesday.
