Not much got past  Tanner Lewis, who gave up just  a  hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Corvian Community off the board. Lewis also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Langtree Charter Academy is 4-1 when he allows at  most  one  earned run, but 9-10 otherwise.
 On the hitting side, Langtree Charter Academy secured the  win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was  Garrett Barbee, who  went 1-for-2 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
The  victory made it two in a row for Langtree Charter Academy and  bumps their season record up to 13-11. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3  runs in those games. As for Corvian Community,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 11-14.
 Looking ahead, Langtree Charter Academy will challenge Cherryville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Ironmen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Corvian Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
