River Valley waltzed into their contest on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the ALA - West Foothills Guardians. This was a revenge game for the Dust Devils: when they faced off against the Guardians back in March, they had to take a 4-2 loss.
Sophia Reyes made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits.
