After only one  run in their last  contest, Grayslake North made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Lake Forest  on Tuesday. The Knights' pitcher stepped up to hand the Scouts  a   17-0 shutout. Considering the Knights have won 11 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
Grayslake North got a  massive  performance out of  Alyson Alvarenga, who  went 1-for-3 with four  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  four  stolen bases gave  Alvarenga a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jane Pritchard, who  went 2-for-3 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  double.
 Grayslake North was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .476. They are 12-2 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Grayslake North's win bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Lake Forest,  they are  on  a  16-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-23.
