After flying high against the Downtown Doral Dolphins on Monday, the Scheck Hillel Community School Lions came back down to earth. Scheck Hillel Community School was the victim of a rough 45-21 loss at the hands of David Posnack Jewish Day on Wednesday. Scheck Hillel Community School lost against David Posnack Jewish Day in their previous head to head back in January of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 60-10 score last time.
David Posnack Jewish Day's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalie Sagranichne led the charge by scoring 5 points along with 12 rebounds and 7 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Camhi, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
Scheck Hillel Community School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Scheck Hillel Community School will head out on the road to face off against Dr. Krop at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dr. Krop is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for David Posnack Jewish Day, they will be playing in front of their home fans against LaSalle at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
