Football Recap: Pinson Valley Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Huffman last Friday, Pinson Valley came back down to earth. The Indians were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 41-40 to the Oxford Yellow Jackets. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost three in a row.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Rico Freeman, who threw for 300 yards and four TDs on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 45 yards. Rj Addison also helped out with an impressive 110 receiving yards.

Pinson Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Oxford, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.
