The Glenn Falcons waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Triton with points to spare, taking the game 36-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Glenn also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Glenn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophia Romer, who scored nine points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dre Weddington, who scored nine points.
Addyson Viers and Sierra Hawley certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Viers scored nine points along with five rebounds, while Hawley scored five points along with five rebounds. That was a full 42.9% of Triton's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Glenn pushed their record up to 11-9 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Triton, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Glenn will take on New Prairie at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Prairie has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Triton, Triton and Culver Community will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Culver Community is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
