The Mt. Zion Braves will head out on the road to  take on  the Washington Panthers  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
15 must be Mt. Zion's lucky number: they beat Mahomet-Seymour with that score not once but twice  on Saturday. The Braves blew past the Bulldogs 15-3. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive  win against them.
 Addy Rotz was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, five  RBI,  and three  runs. Another player making a difference was  Avelyn Ethell, who  went 3-for-4 with one  stolen base, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Mt. Zion  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 15  hits. That's the most  hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Washington waltzed into their game  on Monday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They put the hurt on the Ironmen with a sharp  8-2 victory. The game was the first time the Panthers have beaten the Ironmen on their field since May 10, 2019.
 Washington pushed their record up to 27-2 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  on the road. As for Mt. Zion, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.
 Mt. Zion skirted past Washington  5-3 in their previous matchup  back in May of 2023. Will the Braves repeat their success,  or do  the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
