For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times South Lafourche and East St. John have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. South Lafourche put the hurt on East St. John with a sharp 13-3 victory. The Tarpons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

South Lafourche got a massive performance out of Ress Duet, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave Duet a new career-high. Josh Mack was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one double.

South Lafourche's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for East St. John, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Looking ahead, South Lafourche will head out on the road to take on Bourgeois at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for East St. John, a feisty cat fight will be fought as East St. John Wildcats face off against Terrebonne Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
