It was a good run, but Golden unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chatfield Chargers. If the Demons were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Chargers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Golden was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Chatfield work for it, especially in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 22-25, 28-26.

Golden's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chatfield, with the win, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-5.

Golden has already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Columbine on the 2nd. As for Chatfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Arvada West on the 2nd.
