Hiawatha won the last time they faced Sabetha, and Kylie Nelson did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Hiawatha Red Hawks' way against the Sabetha Bluejays on Monday as the Hiawatha Red Hawks made off with a 54-32 win thanks to Nelson, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 20 points. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points.

Another player making a difference was Laura Lierz, who posted seven points. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%).

Hiawatha now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Sabetha, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-15.

Coming up, Hiawatha will challenge Royal Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sabetha, they will square off against Holton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
