At the plate, the team relied heavily on LiLyana BeLL, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabrielle Fennessey, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Coventry's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Moses Brown, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Moses Brown has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. However, it's not like Coventry struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.1 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance. Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more softball content.
