Volleyball Recap: Coral Gables Gets the Win

Coral Gables won the last time they faced Braddock, and William Hardie did his part to make sure it happened again. The Cavaliers blew past the Bulldogs 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Hardie, who had 16 digs and two aces. Hardie is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least ten every time he's taken the court this season.

The victory didn't come easy: Braddock scored at least 20 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Braddock lost, don't look at Adrian Martin. Despite the final result, he had 18 assists and ten digs. Victor Isaaccura also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Coral Gables' win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Braddock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Coral Gables wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Varela on the 2nd. As for Braddock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Miami on the 2nd.
