The North Kissimmee Christian Lions had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30.8 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They strolled past Bridge to Independence with points to spare, taking the game 91-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
North Kissimmee Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Izaiah Noel out in front who scored 22 points along with two steals and two blocks. Noel hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Pourchons Morisseau, who dropped a triple-double on 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaydan Jeantinord, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. Jeantinord has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jvarius Gibson, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds.
North Kissimmee Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for Bridge to Independence, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
North Kissimmee Christian will head out on the road to square off against International Community at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. International Community is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Bridge to Independence, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Apopka Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
