On Tuesday, Marmaton Valley strolled past Cherryvale with points to spare, taking the game 52-38.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Fox, who scored ten points along with two blocks. Fox hasn't dropped below two blocks for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Bricen Raida, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Marmaton Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Cherryvale, they bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Marmaton Valley will take on Pleasanton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherryvale, they will take on St. Paul at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Paul is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
