Aaron (Aj) Brand Jr. Goes Supernova in Irmo Victory
Aaron (Aj) Brand Jr. was instrumental in extending Irmo's winning streak to seven on Friday. Brand Jr. turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per carry, and also throwing for 120 yards while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
River Bluff had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Brand Jr. it was a similar story. Brand Jr. threw for 204 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 52 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Gators duked it out back in September of 2023.
