Penns Manor lost against Conemaugh Valley back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Penns Manor Comets took  a  67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays. Even though they lost, the Comets' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
 Several Comets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Alex Polenik, who  dropped  a double-double on 15  points and 14  boards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vinny Myers, who  posted 23  points.
 Leading Conemaugh Valley to victory were  Jeremy Dietz and  Jaylen Henry.  Dietz  went 9 of 15  on his way to 27 points and eight  rebounds, while  Henry  went 9 of 22  on his way to 20  points along with seven  steals and five  boards. The  matchup was  Dietz's sixth in a row with at least ten points.  Eric Korhut was another key player,  putting up six points and nine  rebounds.
Penns Manor now  has a losing record at 6-7. As for Conemaugh Valley, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record  this season.
 Penns Manor will look to defend their home court  on Monday against Purchase Line  at 7:15  p.m. Penns Manor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1  points per game  this season. As for Conemaugh Valley, they will head out to  challenge Homer-Center  at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday.
