Blue Mountain came tearing into Thursday's match with 23 straight wins dating back to last season (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Governor Mifflin Mustangs with a sharp 25-3 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Emily Leonard was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Leonard was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Blue Mountain got a massive performance out of Addyson Fishburn, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. Fishburn has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Carla Boyer, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Blue Mountain kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Blue Mountain has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Emmaus on the 21st. As for Governor Mifflin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 20-5 defeat against Pottsville on the 22nd.
