The struggle was real when Wyandanch and East Hampton/Ross clashed on Saturday, but Wyandanch ultimately edged out the opposition 2-0.
The victory bumped Wyandanch's record up to 3-0. East Hampton/Ross are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Wyandanch take on Bayport-Blue Point at 1:30 PM. Bayport-Blue Point took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Wyandanch's good fortune. As for East Hampton/Ross, they will face off against Port Jefferson. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
